KMPA seminar on Goods and Services Tax (GST)

KMPA organised a seminar titled “Be Informed, Be Prepared” to throw light on the Kerala Flood Cess (KFC), implemented from 1^st August, 2019 in the state. The scope of the seminar was to bring clarity on GST, with regards to taxation and billing, with the implementation of the KFC.

The seminar was held on 31^st July, 2019, at the KMPA hall, Kochi. The meeting was jointly conducted by Raghu Balakrishnan and Vivek Shenoy, Chartered Accountants and leading experts on GST, and also the founder Directors of Cognitive Advisory & Partners, Kochi. KMPA members and their accounts staff attended the seminar and benefitted from the opportunity to understand more about the Flood Cess, clearing their doubts about the existing GST.
