NCVT course valedictory function
KMPA has been conducting theory and practical classes in printing technology for students under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). KMPA conducts practical classes in selected printing presses and theory classes at the KMPA hall at Kaloor for 15-month duration. The principle aim of undertaking such training initiatives was to bring awareness to the young generation about printing technology, thereby attracting potential employees.
On 6th December, 2019, a valedictory function to celebrate the completion of the course was held at the KMPA hall in Kaloor. The function was presided by R. Gopakumar, President, KMPA. On behalf of the Training committee Unnikrishna Menon presented a report on this training initiative. Press owners who gave training to the apprentices, KMPA office bearers, members and the apprentices’ attended the function. Apprentices’ who performed well in internal assessment were identified and awarded. The meeting concluded with high tea.
