New Year Celebrations & family get together

KMPA celebrated their New Year programme and family get together in a grand and most enjoyable way on 12th January, 2019,  at Hotel Renai, Palarivattom. R. Gopalakrishnan, writer and former Secretary of the Kerala Sahitya Academy was the chief guest. Members who won the 2018 National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP), were honoured. Children of members who had outstanding performances last year, both in academics and in extracurricular activities, were also honoured at the function. The Association also honoured, S. Saji, Immediate Past President, KMPA, for creating a world record and entering the ‘Incredible Book of Records’. Apart from the sumptuous dinner and entertainment by professional groups, the evening was brought to life by several cultural programmes performed by members and their family, with the highlight being the performances of children and members of the ladies’ forum.

Our members also showcased their talents in “Kaathirippu”, a hilarious drama, especially by the performances of some of the senior members and Hari, and kudos to Saji and his team in setting up the show in such a short span of time.
